Parish Readers

The Church of Ireland values lay ministry in a variety of forms and encourages every member ministry. Two particular forms are Diocesan Lay Readers and Parish Readers who have roles in the leading of services. Lay Readers are trained to lead services and to preach, while Parish Readers primarily are to assist leading services. Our parish has a team of readers -  Parish Readers are Mary Collum, Viola Dourish, Billy Griffin, Nick Lipscomb.  Each ably  assists and leads services in the churches of our Group and add to our collective worship.
